We now live in an era of mass production and hi tech machinery but here at Gemini kitchens we pride ourselves in maintaining traditional craftsmanship and skills and believe that these are attributes that should not be lost by the continued development of modern day technology. As Gemini kitchens has grown and developed we have kept abreast with the latest manufacturing systems and processes but all our furniture is still hand finished by qualified cabinetmakers to attain furniture of the highest quality.
The quality of our furniture is of the upmost concern to us and starts with sourcing the best materials and components for all of our service we provide
The carcases are hand made which gives us more flexibility to manoeuvre around any obstacles in the kitchen such as an SVP position. Each kitchen is measured prior to installation allowing our cabinet makers to build around the SVP in the factory rather than there being any manual cutting on site by the kitchen installer . The recess at the back of the units is also adjustable, so if services are required to run round the back of the units the area can be increased.
Eco-friendly sustainable homes
Gemini Kitchens use high density 18mm melamine faced chipboard supplied by either egger or kronospan. This gives us access to over 100 different fascias, from woodgrains to exotic colours.
The materials we buy come from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood products. This means our suppliers have used either virgin material traceable to a forest that is managed sustainably, or recycled waste wood diverted from landfill. Our suppliers recycle 300,000 tonnes of wood each year.
Our competitors generally use lower density boards that weaken the cabinets strength and they are not usually supplied with the FSC wood certificates.
